Thorpe Acre Infant School is a co-educational school and is administered by the Local Authority (LA), County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RF.
It is necessary for the parents of all children applying for admission to apply to the LA as a mid-term applicant, irrespective of whether they live within our catchment area or not.

The LA is the admitting authority and makes decisions about which children are admitted to Thorpe Acre Infant School based on set criteria which can be found under the Education link www.leicestershire.gov.uk
Our planned admission number for the school is 150.
Please note:
- We are an infant school, therefore, we can only admit pupils in Years R, 1, and 2.
