E-Safety
Being online has become a fundamental part of children’s lives; from apps, online games, social media and websites, all of which can be accessed from a variety of devices including Ipads, laptops, mobile phones and game consoles. The internet and online technology provides new opportunities for children to learn and be creative. However, it can also expose them to new types of risks.
At Thorpe Acre Infant School, we want to ensure children understand how to keep safe when using the internet. Children partake in lessons about how to stay safe online during computing and PSHE lessons. Whole school events, such as Internet Safety Day, provide a fun and engaging approach to create opportunities for safe discussions about online safety.
With this in mind, we have listed some links below to help to support what we do in school to keep our children stay safe and aware online.
