Welcome to Thorpe Acre

I would firstly just like to say "Welcome". I hope you enjoy finding out about our school and its community and that our website is useful and informative.

We pride ourselves on being a happy, welcoming and friendly school where children 'learn and grow together' through each day and where parent partnerships are nurtured and developed, from Foundation Stage to Year 2!

If you are a new parent, why not pop in for a chat and a look around? Our door is always open!... I look forward to meeting you.

Alternatively, follow the 'Contact us' button on the option bar above and send a message for the attention of either myself or Mrs Louise Squires.

'Welcome to the year' - meetings

I was really pleased to see so many of you at the start of the year meetings. Nearly 70% of our newest Foundation Stage families attended and just over half of our KS1 parents/ carers. Thank you - it really does make a difference.
